I Have Fallen In Love….

with a Coleus,of all things……

Let me fill you in.

I went to Lowe’s for more melaluca mulch. But then I saw

IT!

The minute I saw IT I was drawn to IT.

IT had a power over me,that I can’t explain.

IT was a stupid coleous,fer Gawd’s sake.

But I had to have IT!

I bought three….

Look at IT,in all it’s glory,in a container,with ivy……

or in another container, with another lime green coleus…..

I don’t really care for coleus. They’re way too needy for me.

But this one has a power over me.I love the deep purple and lime green colors.

Isn’t it odd how we are drawn to a certain plant? For absolutely no reason.

But this one seems to be a mini variation.

And I adore the coloration.

The purple red with the lime green….

I need to buy more……

That is a neat coleus and I can see why you would want more.

The pot looks beautiful. They are kind of high maintenance though. I hated the messy flowers...I was always too busy to get them picked off. I like the mini look in the pot though.

I was a not a coleus fan until I finally tried them in containers and now I'm hooked. Love the one here big time. Happy to have found your blog!

You definitely do need more! I love coleus and find them not nearly so needy in ground. But, yours certainly do set off those container gardens. I have a lime green one that is coming back from the roots after being frozen this winter. Never had that happen before.

I can't blame you for the attraction. That purple and lime green is a stunning combo! I used to like coleus a lot more...before these past couple of winters and the wicked freezes.

Aha...the power of plants. I've felt their power before...one to many times. She is a darling little coleus though...those small leaves and she looks great matched up with both green plants. Enjoy!
