Canna….
Cleome….
Pardon the interruption, but they wanted to pose…
…Now,back to regular blogging…
Cuphea…
and
Cleaning.
It has been so hot and humid, lately,Mother Nature must’ve wanted me to
Clean and organize.
So,off to IKEA I went.
I truly believe Mother Nature loves IKEA,
…but that’s just how I think…
Time to reorganize the headquarters of TheGreatWall…
…Oooops,shoulda painted first….in the Fall?…
A new desk, new file Cabinet(old file cabinet relegated to the closet),files have been tossed, drawers Cleaned,
Crap thrown out….
(we all have crap we need to throw out, right?)
What
C’s
do you have?
And on a sad note,my Dad has had another fall. After a day in the ER,CAT scans, etc.,it was determined he had just sprained his back, but at 92,you just don’t bounce back.and he hasn’t.He has gotten incredibly frail in the two weeks, and seems to have given up.I have come to dread the phone calls….
I still have questions about gardening…

Sorry to hear the news about your Dad. Hope he has no more falls.
Love the look of your office.
Your flowers photos are wonderful. Especially those peachy cannas.
Hope your week is a good one.

C's....hmmmm, crashes, cops, custody, care, crazy.....
Like your C's a lot better. Wish I had such a nice office space. Doubtful I could ever keep it that clean. :)
Sorry, to hear about your dad. This is never easy.
Those are some lovely canna colors. Your cleome and coneflower photos bring back memories of my old Zone 7 garden. They were staples in my perennial borders up there. Do they come back for you every year here? I would LOVE to grow coneflowers again!
Praying for you and your Dad....
I remember just such dread of the phone ringing when my own daddy was sick. I'll keep you in my prayers that you will have courage and strength through these trying times.
What an unusual color for a canna. I really like it. And your posing butterflies deserved to interrupt your post. I'm glad they did.
Hey Chris, sorry to hear about your dad. I do hope he's feeling better soon. Love all the "C" flowers in your garden, and the butterflies, too.
