Did you ever realize that it
really,
really,
really
hurts when you drop a cement block on your foot?
Seriously,it hurts!
It started with this pot……….
(a resin pot,bought on clearance at Home Good’s for $10 !)
I had the plants to go in it…
It needed to be raised up…..
just to make it more pronounced…
I went to Lowe’s to buy a cement block…..
Taking it out of the truck,it slipped….
Onto my foot……
But being a true gardener(or a stupid one…),I continued on….
and ended up with this…..
(told ya it needed to be raised up!)
and this…….
(three broken toes)
Pots will do that to ya!

Now, maybe I know how it feels to have one's foot somewhat immobilized! Take it easy on that foot. Planting looks good anyways.
Already been there-done that with both feet, after the surgery a few years back.Feeling much, much better today.

OOwwwwww! Poor poor foot. On a happy note, the pot looks fantastic and I must commend you on having non-puffy feet!
Deborah-thanx.But I think I need a pedi.....

Nice pot -- and your broken toes explain why you have such a lovely yard, and my UNbroken toes explain why I do not!
Ouch, that really hurts! You are such a devoted gardener! You built a very beautiful spot when you have a broken toe! Hope your toe recovers very soon.
Dang. I hope they gave you decent pharmaceuticals.

Ouch! Those concrete blocks are heavy. I do hope you are healing nicely. I must say that container arrangement is quite nice. I love the grass and sedum combo. Those white rocks really set it off.
Maybe I should fly down and mix cocktails by the pool while you heal?! You crazy gardener!~
Ami-not devoted, stupid is more like it.
Tink-Vicodin works wonders, but makes me too sleepy.
NanaK-I'm really starting to like sedums with grasses.Makes for a nice contrast.
Gayle-What a true friend you are!come on down!

Oh, you poor thing...I know that hurts really, really bad. You are quite a trooper to continue on and finish the job...it looks great!
Ouch! but the pot looks nice now it is raised up.
Yikes, Chris, that makes me hurt thinking about it. But your idea of the single grass in a tall pot has turned out nicely. I like the sedum accents too. Hope you heal quickly... I know it takes a while usually and what in the world are you doing about shoes? Oh, bother!
