This morning was cool,as July Florida mornings go.
It motivated me to get to work on getting the gardens back into shape(after the contractors made a mess).
It’s been awhile since I took an early morning stroll, camera in hand, through the garden.
Orchids in bloom…
took this one up to the lanai,to enjoy the blooms
this one,too
Ground orchids…
Bromeliads…
Jamaican Wild Coffee…
Casearia sylvestris - Flacourtiaceae
Simpson Stopper/Twinberry (Myrcianthes fragrans) blooms….
and berries….
the birds are having a field day with the berries….
Blue Butterfly Bush
clerodendrum ugandense
and the Plumeria are still going strong….
What’s blooming in your mid-July garden?

Just beautiful. I especially love your orchids!
Everything looks so lush. Your orchids are beautiful! Are they growing in full sun?
Happy summer gardening and then going inside to enjoy your lovely kitchen and laundry room. :-)

Simpson stoppers taste pretty darn good, I've found. Sweet on the front end, with a slight bitter grapefruit aftertaste. If I ever have enough, I'm making preserves.
Seriously? I didn't know that.
Flower Lady-they are on my screened lanai. So it's kind of a
diffused direct sun.I tend to never move them,so they get used to the spot they are growing in.Does that make sense?
