Coming Attractions…..

It’s Autumn in Florida. The fall garden is in.Now it’s time for learning that trait we gardeners are not known for.

Patience.

With toe tapping anticipation we pace the garden, everyday.

Looking for signs of growth.

Then one day there it is!

Now,back to our movie……

With the return of cooler days and nights, and the drop in humidity, the tropicals are slowing down. But the cool weather flowers are springing to life.2010_10_241mums(I’ve had this one for years!),Lotus Begonia,Farfugium, orchids,Angel’s Trumpet( third bloom this year)

Is your patience being rewarded this Autumn?

Your fall veggies look great. I see the Roma tomatoes are soon to be on your table.

I'm having trouble being patient for my own tomatoes. I scrutinize them every day as I water them. I think they've grown 1/16" rounder since yesterday.

That sleeping "punkin" is the cutest one in the patch.

That's IT! I'm coming to YOUR pumpkin patch!!! Your garden looks wonderful. It just cooled down under 100 THIS week, so only now has our autumn begun. Time for some petunias and winter grass. **kisses** Deb
