That certain plant that waits until all the others have gone into hiding,before it shows its true colors…..
The one that shouts out loud,
“Hey!Look at me!”
But you’ll never brighten the fall garden as much as this precious flower……

That 'fall flower' is just the cutest.
It's nice to see that die-hard canna bloom too. My cannas have been cut down. They got really ugly in late summer with leaf-roller damage. I never had leaf-rollers before and I'm hoping next summer will be leaf-roller free. And lubber-free.
