‘Twas A Sunday In December

The first Sunday,in December,in fact……

YardBoy in his robe,

And I in my pj’s,

Had just settled in,by the pool, for our first cup of coffee.

When what to our wondering eyes should appear….

But a Red Shouldered Hawk!

and I heard him scream as he flew outta sight……..

Merry Christmas,humans!

That hawk looks really beautiful and cute. It is always nice to have bird visiting your garden.

Aw, I love that poem! Fun and festive, and what a beautiful being that hawk is! Lucky you to get a visit from the big guy.

I think I just heard my hens gasp out of fright.

Such a beautiful morning visitor. (I'm sticking my tongue out at your for sitting in your bathrobe by the pool. I wish it was me.)

Great adaptation of a classic poem. Your hawk looks pretty puffed up in preparation for the coming cold weather. Hope your garden fares well through the next week!
