  2. OMGosh!!! Swoonalicious shots!!! Subject, lighting, superb. Yes I do know how difficult it is to capture butterflies. I spent several hours in the heat capturing ONE bee shot! Wait, what is wrong with us??? Seriously, excellent photography here. ♥♥♥ Deb

  3. Fantastic butterfly shots, Chris. Your pentas are doing their job superbly. I feel the need to get outside with my camera and hunt some of those beauties myself.

  4. Don't seen many Swallowtails around here only every now and again. And you are right Butterfly photography can only be described as an artform in itself. Nice shots!

  5. Very pretty. I haven't noticed very many here this summer. Maybe too much rain? Glad your garden is full of life.

  6. Yes, I do know how hard it is! The only time I can remember catching two in one photo was a mating pair of Gulf Fritillaries. I didn't have my camera, but I ran in the house to get it, and they were still there when I returned. Beautiful photos, by the way.

  8. So many great photos, and you're right those butterflies do not pose very well, but you did a great job capturing them. I like the dark and light pink pentas combo...very nice!

  9. Very beautiful butterfly photos, especially those that has two butterflies on a same plant! I grow lots of pentas in my garden, but all I see is white peacock butterflies. Not sure if I miss some elements to attract more butterflies...
